Historically Stunned: Philip II of Spain.
Philip II of Spain and his Spanish Armada were stunned on August 8th, 1588 by Queen Elizabeth I and her English fleet. So stunned that the Queen thought it appropriate to have a portrait painted of herself titled the ‘Armada Portrait‘. It’s kind of like the Tebow plaque.
